This versatile, lightly insulated hard shell runs the full gamut of gravity-infested conditions. The 2-layer waterproof/breathable fabric is lightweight and mobile for going fast and covering big vistas, yet highly durable, with stretch-woven nylon reinforcements at the shoulder, elbows and hips. It's insulated with supple 100-g. Primaloft® for maximum warmth and minimal bulk. Inside, a lining of baffled nylon taffeta slides easily over layers and enhances natural upper-body mobility. For overhead days, an adjustable neck gasket seals out the freshies; it's lined with brushed, skin-friendly tricot. The two-way adjustable hood is removable with a quick zip for blue-bird cruising. Other features include a mini storm skirt with gripper elastic, anatomically curved Centaur Cuffs and front hand pockets positioned where they won't interfere with a harness or pack straps. Additional pockets: a zippered chest pocket, left bicep pocket (will hold a communication device) and an internal mesh stash pocket.
